12.10.11 Holy passage of time, Batman! Sorry I've been so absent lately. I've been doing music stuff, I swear. I've got 11, possibly 12 spanking-new tracks burning a hole in my pocket (brain? laptop?) that I'm fixing to get down starting tomorrow at Comrade Studios in Spokane. 9.29.10 I'm back from my travels and must say I had a fantastic, if not altogether profitable, time. Meeting up with old friends in several places (including a facebook reconnection from middle school) and gathering new ones along the way were the highlights - even if I did also love the anonymity of traveling and performing alone. The last show was here in Seattle for Cafe Society; there is a very cool write up the history of CS here and a couple photos from the show here. Fall is starting to settle in, and I'm very much looking forward to hunkering down on the next record. We scored a 1950's Steinway upright off craigslist, and it taunts me everyday with its smug orderliness and lying-in-wait potential.
